What's inside
Lender models
One tab per lender, built to show how its advance, fees, and repayment play out day by day on a stream of sales.
Your own Shopify data
Two step-by-step tabs for importing your historical Shopify sales so the models run on your real numbers.
Projected sales
A tab for running the models on your sales forecast instead of history.
Value of a day of cash cycle
A simple calculator for how much cash you free up for each day you cut from your cash conversion cycle.
How to use it
- Open the sheet and choose File, then Make a copy. The shared version is view only.
- Load your sales with the two Shopify import tabs, or enter your forecast in the projected sales tab.
- Open the tab for each lender you are considering and enter the terms from their offer.
- Compare how much cash each offer gives you, when repayment comes out, and what it costs over the full cycle.
Why rate is the wrong comparison
APR is a lousy way to compare brand financing. It ignores how much you can borrow, when you get it, and whether repayment comes out before your inventory has sold.
The better question is how much growth each option enables over time. Price matters, but it should break a tie, not make the decision.
